Stoneware cup - thin rim - Collection ESPRIT MINGEI

Handmade stoneware cup designed for tea lovers and simple everyday rituals. Its exceptionally fine rim is pleasant against the lips, while a sculpted foot provides a stable base and distinctive character.

Both inside and outside are coated with a soft, luminous, studio-made food-safe glaze.

Every piece is unique, shaped by hand and fire. Ideal for tea, small tastings and everyday use.

All pieces sold on this website are made, glazed and fired in my studio in Colmar. Shapes and dimensions may vary slightly, as each piece is handmade. Glaze colours vary naturally, from green to grey celadon, reflecting the effects of reduction flame firing.

All tableware is dishwasher-safe and suitable for food contact. Handwashing is nevertheless recommended for longer-lasting care.

Some pieces have very fine edges that may chip if knocked, so please handle them carefully.

Many of my glazes develop crazing. Over time, the glazed surface may become stained by liquids such as tea or coffee. The stoneware is fired to 1,280 °C and is highly vitrified; the French description states that the stoneware and crazed glazes present no danger in use. Please contact me for further information.

Orders are dispatched three times a week, via Mondial Relay parcel service, with signature or collection code required.
